Coaching is a form of development in which an experienced person, called a coach, supports a learner in achieving a specific goal, or solving an issue. There are many frameworks for coaching, and they generally involve asking powerful questions to help the coachee navigate their ways through finding answers. Many managers now use coaching techniques to help their employees grow and learn to become more independent.
In this workshop, we’ll learn about the GROW model and practice applying it in small groups or pairs. There are many other techniques associated with coaching, however in this hour we’ll focus on this specific model.
