Description

Did you know California requires non-supervisors receive an hour of anti-harassment training within the first 6 months of hire and every two years thereafter? This workshop satisfies California’s anti-harassment non-supervisor training requirement for employers with 5 or more employees under California Govt. Code § 12950.1 and the accompanying regulations.  

By scheduling this single training mandatory for all non-supervisors, you won’t have to keep tabs and worry about which of your employees have taken the required training or not, or whether the training provided is compliant. The workshop covers both Federal and state (CA) legal prohibitions

A slide deck as well as certificate of completion forms will be provided to ensure compliance.  

Unlike many compliance trainings, this session is highly practical, relevant and interactive for participants.

During this workshop, we will:

  • Discuss the key definitions for unlawful workplace discrimination, harassment, and retaliation
  • Identify and recognize potentially problematic behaviors, including workplace bullying
  • Review your company’s policies around anti-harassment, open doors and complaint handling

After the workshop, you will have learned:

  • What is considered unlawful discrimination, harassment, and retaliation
  • Federal and CA legal prohibitions with respect to these issues
  • How to contribute to a workplace free of harassment and bullying
  • Workplace strategies to prevent and correct unlawful behavior
